The game presents an engaging experience where players manage an aquarium teeming with guppies and various aquatic species. Each level commences with two guppies, and players must skillfully collect coins dropped by the fish to acquire essential supplies such as fish food and upgrades. These upgrades encompass additional aquatic creatures, extended-duration food for sustaining the fish, and laser defenses to fend off potential threats.

This title merges virtual pet simulation with action, strategy, and puzzle genres, offering diverse gameplay through five distinct modes: Adventure, Time Trial, Challenge, and Virtual Tank. In Adventure mode, players navigate through four tanks comprising five levels each. The objective in every level is to accumulate enough currency to purchase three egg pieces necessary for progression. Following an initial run where players feed their fish and combat aliens, each successful level completion rewards them with a new pet from the acquired eggs.

Throughout Adventure mode, players can earn a total of 28 distinct pets, but must strategically choose three for use in each level. These pets provide valuable assistance during gameplay. Additionally, bonus rounds allow players to gather shells that can be utilized in the Virtual Tank to place fish, enhancing the overall depth of the gaming experience.
